The method you keep

One lifecycle. Five steps. Two days.

Blueprint and set up on Saturday. Build, test and publish on Sunday.

Five frosted-glass project symbols: a blueprint, setup tools, a construction crane, a magnifying glass and a globe.
  1. 01

    Blueprint

Who, what, where, when, why and how, written down before a line exists.

  2. 02

    Setup

Accounts, services and hardware in place, and a folder structure that will not collapse.

  3. 03

    Build

You prompt, AI writes the code, and you check the result against your blueprint.

  4. 04

    Test

Test on phone and laptop, from your own machine to a live link, then fix what needs attention.

  5. 05

    Publish

Buy your own domain, connect it to free hosting, and launch your project by Sunday at 4pm.

Saturday + Sunday · 10am to 4pm

Understand it. Then build it.

No coding experience needed. You learn to steer the same AI tools professionals use.

Day oneSaturday, 10am to 4pm

Foundations and blueprinting

Spend the morning understanding what AI can do, where it falls short, and how to spot a confident wrong answer. In the afternoon, turn your idea into a written 5W1H blueprint and set up your tools, services and project folders. Leave with a plan and a project ready to build.

  • What AI is, and what it is not
  • AI limits and hallucinations
  • Blueprinting with the 5W1H: who, what, where, when, why, how
  • Project setup: tools, services and hardware
  • Project folders, locations and a clear starting structure

Leave with: a written plan and your project ready to build.

Day twoSunday, 10am to 4pm

Build, test and publish

In the morning, prompt, build and check the result against your blueprint. In the afternoon, test on phone and laptop, publish to a live link, then buy and connect your own domain with our guidance. By 4pm, your project is live.

  • Prompt engineering with the same AI tools professionals use
  • Rapid prototyping with AI-assisted code, checked against your blueprint
  • Testing on phone and laptop, from local work to a live link
  • Your domain, about $15 a year, bought in your own account
  • DNS, nameservers, free hosting and your project live by 4pm

Leave with: your own project, live on your own domain.

Questions

Before you reserve.

01

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You need a laptop and an idea. The machine writes the code; you learn to steer it.

02

What do I bring?

Your laptop and charger, one idea, and about $15 for a domain you own. We help you buy and connect it in class. No idea yet? We pick one together on Saturday morning.

03

What do I leave with?

Your own project, built, tested on phone and laptop, and live on your domain by Sunday at 4pm. You also keep your written blueprint, working prompts, and the method to do it again.

04

What can I build?

A business website, a booking or order page, a portfolio, a landing page for a new idea, or a simple tool for your team. We help you choose a project that fits the two days.

05

Are there any extra costs?

The course is $497 CAD per seat. Your domain costs about $15 a year and is bought in your own account during class. We publish on a free hosting plan.

06

When does the course run?

Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 4pm both days, by appointment in Edmonton. Groups have 3 to 5 people and one instructor. Once you send your request, the UMTI team replies by email within one business day to arrange your weekend.

07

What if I can only make one day?

Both days are needed. If something comes up we move you to a later weekend rather than have you miss half.

08

Where is it?

Edmonton. The address is confirmed with your weekend, because the room depends on the group.

09

What if I leave without a live project?

Come back the next weekend at no charge. The goal is a project that is live on your own domain.

10

Do I pay when I reserve?

No payment now. Once you send your request, the UMTI team replies by email within one business day to arrange your weekend and answer your questions.
