Salik Foundation
A registered Canadian charity that prints and freely gives the Qur'an, with a single page built to turn a reader into a giver or a recipient.
How it was made
Salik Foundation prints the Qur'an and gives it away free to non Muslims, new Muslims and seekers. The site has two jobs at once, and they pull in opposite directions: ask a donor for money, and tell a stranger they can have a Qur'an at no cost, without making either feel like the afterthought.
The answer was to put both calls side by side, on every screen, from the first one. Give a Qur'an sits next to request a free Qur'an the whole way down. The three things a Canadian donor needs to know, zakat eligible, all of it reaches the cause, tax receipts issued, are stated in the first screen rather than buried in a FAQ.
The rest of the page is proof rather than promise. Real distribution photography, a wall of the foundation's own YouTube reminders pulled onto the page so the work is visible without leaving, and a map section that answers where the Qur'ans actually go: seekers, students, libraries, prisons, da'wah tables and homes.
It closes on the line the whole campaign rests on, that every Qur'an given is a sadaqah jariyah, and asks once more.
